Residencia 222 is a research revolving around the question “How can an artist sustain a living without having to be dependent on the art market?”

We conduct this research through theoretical methods, of which this website serves as a digital library, & through empirical methods participating in- and organizing physical events, which are also communicated and documented in the digital library.
